About the event

Level: Open

This will be challenging no matter your level and that is the point. This seasonal practice is an offering, representing gratitude for the Sun's energy and gratitude for this season in your life as this is the time to put forth action towards your intentions!


  1. Create inner fire to move energy: This practice will create heat in the body and mind. Tapas! Heat caused by the friction in the body and mind, the friction from resistance and discomfort, which melts stagnant energies and moves upwards for transcendence and release of what no longer serves.
  2. Clear your mind: Practicing 108 Sun Salutations requires strong will and a single pointed mind. Yes. It will be challenging. But in cultivating the strength of will and mind by focusing on moving with breath and counting vs your mental chatter, you will find ease and flow eventually. Because when the mind is out of the way, flow happens. Attention moves inward. The mind becomes just background noise if you even hear it at all after a while. That's why this is a MOVING MEDITATION!
  3. Surrender: After a while of mental resistance + persistence, that ease and flow shows up allowing you to surrender to the process. Acknowledge what arises, let it go and move on...continue with your dedicated practice! That's the power of surrender!

*This is a detoxifying and cleansing practice.

We will honor rest in a restorative pose 4 times. Every 27 rounds which represents 1 cycle. Bring with you 4 intentions of action for this Summer season. Each cycle of 27, you will focus on a single intention. I'll count silently so you don't have to, and you will recite your intention in your head each round, and switch to your next intention each cycle. Bring 4 intentions of action towards your desired life. Keep them each one sentence long. Simple and short. Speak present tense. I am. I have. I do. I.....present tense. Like it's already here! 🙏🏽🪷
